Winchester 1300 defender cost

I saw a nice looking Winchester 1300 defender with wood stock in 98% shape. What is it worth? The pawn shop was asking $449

They cost new $219 back in the 1990's..I bought one new, black finish with black synthetic furniture. Then won an identical 1300 12ga Defender one as a gunshow door-prize like a month later!

I would not give over $350.00 otb for it. I have one like it, very nice gun, then the model under it, the 120, then a 120 in 20ga. They are very nice guns but $449.00 seems a bit high. That is just me.

My 32nd edition Blue Book (2011) says a Win 1300 Defender in 98% condition is worth $210. No difference for hardwood (discontinued 2001) or composite stock.

100% = $270, 95% = $160.

This year's Blue Book value is anybody's guess...

seems steep, but things all over are high. Doesn't mean i would pay it, just that folks will ask it.
