Thanks. I saw it at a pawn shop. They sometimes get in nice things but are always over priced. I thought it was high as well but wasnt sure.

In 2010 I owned a black 1300 defender and stupid ol me sold it for $325.
I regret it a lot especially now.

Most I've seen sell on Armslist (before the pants-wetting) went in the $250 to $275 area - some up to $300. $449's pretty steep.

Bought one new in 2000 for $250ish at wal mart. Traded it off 4 or 5 years later like a dummy. Bought a new SXP defender last year for $350ish new and like it even more than the 1300. $459 is crazy pricing.

Find you a nice 870 w/wood, take it to Steve out in Jones and he will cut the barrel off. It will look like it came from the factory for only $40
