Probably 100 yrs late
Per the article, you can use it by merely swapping the barrel, calling ruger to get the 21 Sharp Barrel for my SR22 to make it an SR21 - I'll call it the Blackbird!
Heck, they can't even make a decent .22 LR cartridge that will feed well in a semi auto, now another faulty caliber.

I'm sure there will be a following. I'm not interested in it but to some it will be the best thing since sliced bread. If they put it in a plastic stock and have a 25 Rd mag, it will be the best of the rest.
