Seriously? Choke on a shotgun is how tight the end of the barrel is, effecting the shot pattern. Commonly full/mod/cyl etc.

There should me markings somewhere on the gun that says what choke the barrel is

Look for this most times. But sometimes it's spelled out. This is Brownings typical.
* designates full choke (F).
*- designates improved modified choke (IM).
** designates modified choke (M).
**- designates improved cylinder choke (IC).
**$ designates skeet (SK).
*** designates cylinder bore (CYL).
