Windham R16SFST-308 or DPMS G2 Recon .308 or Aero Precision 16" M5

Has anybody had any first hand experience with any of these rifles? For some reason I think I need a .308/7.62 AR. These are 3 of the rifles I am interested. Right now the Windham is $1199 from a vendor on slickguns.com. I have handled the regular Windham SRC and it seemed like a solid rifle with a good finish. Just haven't heard of a lot of people with first hand experience with any of the rifles. Most of the M5 rifles I have seen have build custom builds.

I have some experience with the G2 SASS. I wrote a review below. You won't be disappointed unless you suppress it. Then an adjustable gas block is in order. The dual ejectors and redesigned bolt lugs are a big plus on the DPMS. I haven't seen either of the other guns in person.

For a bump...the DPMS makes a good rifle, I like the Windham, but not much experience with it
