Rent, utilities, food, and diapers came from that budget. Pretty tough days.
Beans and stolen food from my units lunches supplemented our evening meals.
So, yes I understand the pain of Government employees.
I've gone through bad times in private companies as well.
Life is pretty good now though by making wise choices along the way.

why dont we pass something that says no member of the legislative branch of the government is eligble for a pay raise in any year that the country operates in a deficit.
