Actually, I've been a member of RFC for well over a decade,,, But I mostly just post in the CZ handgun threads,,, And reply to interesting thread titles. There is some serious knowledge over there for certain,,, Just like there is here at okshooters. For the past few days I've been perusing the 10/22 picture threads,,, Because for me there are two important factors a rifle needs. Accuracy and overall performance are paramount,,, But also life is too short to shoot an ugly rifle. That rifle that Glocktogo posted about on page one,,, Is one seriously sexy fiery-arm. I'm not at all attracted to tactical/skeleton stocks,,, That Boyd stock he used screams elegance. I prefer heavier barrels as well,,, When they are mounted in the Barracuda stocks,,, They have very sleek lines, especially with the fluted barrels. No polymer stocks though,,, Either a real piece of a tree or laminated wood would work. I have a CZ-457 Varmint with the Boyd's AT-1 stock,,, It's adjustments were easy enough to make it fit me very nicely,,, But I feel it could use a bit of judicious rasp work to round a few uncomfortable edges. It's all speculation right now,,, The book I ordered will be here next week,,, When it gets here I can start learning what can go into a build. Until then I'll just keep surfing all the eye-candy pictures. That was a hint Gentlemen,,, Please post as many 10/22 pics here as you desire. Aarond .
