Looking for a new 1911 for IDPA. Needs to be a 9mm and would like it to have a rail. No GI or Military versions please. Have around $1000 to spend. Preferences are listed below

Springfield armory Operator, ronin, emissary, garrison, champion, range officers.

Tisas double stack or single stack with rail

Really would consider most any 1911 9mm in my price range. Closer to Tulsa the better.

Rock Island makes a decent 1911 in 9mm for half your budget

I owned that Dan Wesson that's for sale in the classifieds for a while. You would be hard pressed to find a better 9mm 1911 for the price.

I have a Tisas 1911 single stack Nightstalker SF I could part with. I have about 500 rounds thru it and it has been very reliable with no misfeeds or extraction issues. It is the government 5" slide length with a threaded barrel, it has Tritium suppressor height night sights, and is optic cut if you decide to run a red dot. It's a great gun, but has been sitting in my safe, so I could part with it to fund other gun stuff.
I'm also in the Tulsa area and can let you shoot it at my local range if you want to try it out. It's a very smooth, sweet shooting gun.
