The Hispanic vote ALWAYS is a big majority for the DEMOCRATS...even with
"Amnesty McCain", "Amnesty Regan", "Amnesty Bush", and "Mexican Romney"....IT IS
NOT ABOUT AMNESTY PEOPLE!!!!!!!! Just look at California...Illegals are some
of the largest consumers of gov't services...IT IS ABOUT MOOCHING...so even if
the republicans shift to the left to appease the Hispanic vote, these people
will still vote for the democrats to keep getting massive amounts of
entitlements, except then, after they are given citizenship, they will guarantee
democrat victory FOREVER or until we run out of the ability to borrow money...we
are done!

I HIGHLY recommend y'all download this or at least look him up and stream it if
you cant download the MP3 file and listen to AT LEAST the 1st 30min or so of the
SECOND hour of the show...I am sure the whole thing is good, but that is all I
heard last night and it highly made sense to me...

Here is another:

I wish I could recall the woman's name who was interviewed by Levin in the above but she did a study to support these ideas...

If the Republicans do not embrace some type of comprehensive immigration reform, the party is doomed on the national stage.

Yeah it is kind of a lose-lose situation isn't it JB??? I mean some Hispanics might appreciate amnesty and even citizenship if at 1st...but although they are hard workers, many of them struggle to climb the income ladder and therefore become reliant on government services...And at that point why would you bite the hand that feeds you??? You vote Democrat..it is sad really because the Democrat leadership has found a way ti "import" a permanent voting base...they are working real hard at it. And I want to make it VERY clear that I am not against Hispanics...I am making an observation based on historical fact...I have a LEGAL hispanic friend and East Indian friend that both get upset at the illegals because they said they cheat and then get rewarded for it and if you do things the "right" way you almost get punished...So JB, what you said it true, but I still do not think it will help the republicans in the long run...LOL remember McCain was pro-amnesty and Immigration reform, etc, so was Bush...and they failed to get even half of the Hispanic vote.

If you look at all the rabidly anti-immigration bills that have been pushed through states (including our own), they have all been authored by Republicans. it is no wonder Hispanics side with the Democrats when these Republican laws have destroyed family units and lives.

You can smirk here all you want, but take a drive around Capital Hill in OKC or 21st and garnet in Tulsa. Look around. Talk to teachers in the public school systems about the number of LEGAL Hispanic children. There's a day of reckoning coming.

Embrace Hispanics, but don't move toward socialism to do it. Going forward, I think we have to embrace immigration issues to viably compete but we don't have to move to the left. The immigrant crowd ought to be a natural constituency for the GOP, as most immigrants I'd like to believe are here to work and succeed, not to mooch. If it is to mooch, then we are indeed doomed.

The GOP is stupid and they'll never figure out why they lost, even when someone smacks them upside the head with the answer. :(

Several OSAers have explained how to win or at least modify they're stance on several issues. Anyone of which could tilt the balance of power.

Now look at the threads, sessession(sp), Petitions, ect. Even a good answer wont work. Let them wallow in they're own bitterness and sulk for awhile, maybe they'll figger it out by themselves.

I'll tell you why we lost:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.” -- Alexis de Tocqueville

“Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.” -- Benjamin Franklin

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money" -- Margaret Thatcher

That my friends is why we lost and will continue to lose until we collapse...

That "used" to be true...but now, as evident in California, the illegals are large consumers of government services...they come here FOR the benefits and are invited here by the Democratic party...
