Election season. Libs storm the forums trying to change peoples' minds.
Ok How bout for once we all take a deep breath and scream F to the k and stop being what other people want us to be!(that incompases a lot of diffrent things and how we percive the world around us) Im probly going to get burned by people but ohh well. I think it is time to come to grips with the facts at hand. The party system like many other things Is a very clever tool put to use on a very large scale. It in fact devides us to a lesser or greater extent. debate and diffrence in opinnion is great but the fact of the matter is that we all have diffrent ideas and ways of thinking. demacrats, republicans and more or less they are against each other.
demacrats coming from the word democracy or a goverment by the people or elected represenitives a way of goverment in where the pessants and everyone else rules. Then we have republicans coming from the word republic meaning a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them. Is it just me or dose this seem strange because if you add it up they are both the same idea. The people in charge of goverment, so why is it that the same idea is split in twain to fight the same idea. A republic is just a form of democracy meaning Its the same idea so why than do we fight over the same idea. Why do we pick diffrent sides in the same team so to say? It seems that bird trying to eat its tail feathers is not the best of ideas and just goes against commen sense! ok how bout Liberals meaning Liberalism is the belief in the importance of liberty and equal rights.[2] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but most liberals support such fundamental ideas as constitutionalism, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, free trade, and the freedom of religion. Meaning freedom and goes into the whole idea of democracy which would be a another tail feather getten ate by the same bird. conserveitves is a political and social philosophy that promotes the maintenance of traditional institutions and supports, at the most, minimal and gradual change in society. Some conservatives seek to preserve things as they are, emphasizing stability and continuity. Again seems like another part of the same idea, so just another tail feather. But to look at the major partys its just puttting the same genral idea against its self. So in essence we have divided the people into diffrent sections of the same idea to make them all fight which is the dumbest thing I can think of and defies logic. We live in a republic thanks to democracy we all want to keep alot of what we have with change when new ideas are brought forward but errd on the side of caution with freedom and want to keep that which we have. So why should we fight we all in a sense want the same bloody thing!
