Giving legal status to illegal immigrants would basically undermine the entire U.S. immigration system and law.

Why bother going through the legal process if i can just slip across the border and wait a while?

I feel bad for those who have actually known no other country than the U.S. -- those who speak without a Spanish accent and do not know Spanish at all. Those who arrived in the country before 3 years of age.

Ultimately, the vast majority should be sent back with their parents.
I've got no problem with these Dreamers being here as long as they move into the legal path of becoming US Citizens, and we seal the damn border to keep this crap from happening again.

The law of the LAND should trump any state law. Where else in the world would you see illegals demonstrating like they do here? Do they even do that in Germany...which is the one place I can think of that is like here? Seriously, I want to know if that happens there.

State law is the law of the land, no?

If californians want to turn a bunch of Illegals into californians thats their business. I just don't want them fleeing their shithole state and bringing their ideology with them, which they will inevitably do when their failed ideology collapses their home states.

The Polizei requires all demonstrations to be registered with them. They also have data on ALL residents and numbers of people from every country that reside in their AO. Germany is not about to let this type of crap occur. I lived there for 8 years from 1997-2005 and was thoroughly impressed with their Police force and Intelligence gathering.
Having said all that, America is so completely different than Germany in so many facets that it is truly not comparable. All the freedoms and rights we have here are not available there. Just a different kind of place. Our privacy is far greater in America than German citizens enjoy. But when it comes to knowing where bad guys are, the Polizei is pretty good.

There is no sealing the border, not really. I think a majority of the illegals came here on tourist visas and just overstayed, anyway. All you're doing is encouraging it. If there was some kind of easy solution to prevent illegal immigration then we would have done it after the Reagan amnesty.

Remember the Reagan Amnesty?

we legalized 3.5 million illegals and yet, 35 years later, here we are with 11 million more illegal immigrants.

that's what is going to happen here as well. You'll end up with 11 million illegals, shaft everyone who is waiting 5 years for a legal visa(should have just illegally immigrated, schmucks.) and on top of that another 11 million will cross the border in the next 20-30 years and we'll be back where we're started.

Yes it does. The open border status of Europe has the middle eastern "refugees" moving around the EU looking for the best socialist policies so they can set up their enclaves, and take advantage to the socialist policies.
If they don't get what they want, they march and protest.

The Dreamers need to go back.
Their point is that it was not their crime that their parents brought them across the border, so they shouldn't be held accountable for the actions of their parents, legal or not.
Well, it just doesn't happen that way. In the US, parents are held liable for the crimes of their children until they reach the age of consent. At least in Oklahoma, unless that law has changed from when my kids were young.
After that, consider this scenario. If their parents robbed a bank and gave the money to their kids unknowingly, would the kids be allowed to keep the money because they were not party to the crimes of their parents?
It's no different in the immigration issue.
FREEKING MEXICO won't allow that to happen, yet Mexico thinks the US is just a suburb of Mexico City.
Try to illegally immigrate to Mexico, and see what butt rape is like in a mexican prison.

Exactly. This is when the Constitution comes into play. Can we let one (or more) states circumvent it?
