It's just sad that some folks are so clueless.
A friend told me about watching a bullet-proof vest demo on TV. Some clown from the audience actually volunteered to wear the vest.
After the shot (which the vest did stop), the guy spent the rest of the show holding his stomach and saying "That really hurt!"
Apparently he thought a vest is like a sci-fi force-field...
