Digital trunking scanner

Anyone know how to program one of those things, I have had one for a year, I think it requires an IT degree or somthing....

It was EXPENSIVE.. Any suggestions anyone?

Get the software and cable to connect it to your PC and then get the software that will support your scanner. It is a lot easier to program the scanner from the PC. Google is your friend.

has all of the frequencies that you'll need. The forum there is also very helpful on programming scanners.

The correct software makes it a breeze. It can be done with the keyboard on the unit but it is time consuming.

What Brand and Model?

I got one of those several years ago....it took me three days of reading just to get the local channels. Still don't know about the trunked.
