It was originally a smith and Wesson Gunsite scandium 1911. It's one heck of a carry 1911. I'll get some more pics if I get the owners permission.
Mikey's getting good with the mill, huh?

That's purdy Mike! I like the bevel you put on the side of the rear sight, I've never seen it quite done like that, but I like it.

Did you do all the milling? The French borders are a pleasant touch, and the flushcut crown is pretty slick.

Like everybody else said, I'd like to see some specs. What barrel did you go with?
