The way we normally measure distance is statute miles, I would not complicate matters by using clicks or nautical miles. However, I do see your point.
In any case, I think we'll find that they launched from Pakistan, Afghanistan or one of the northern "stan" nations. Anything closer would be preferable.

I read one account that shortly before the raid witnesses saw 4 helicopters take off from a base in Pakistan that the US used during the relief missions after the floods there.

It's real interesting how people marginalize the minority opinion. I assume I'm being counted as a "conspiracy theorist" because of what I posted in this thread. I assume others with similar opinions are as well. Questioning the reactions to Bin Laden's death = conspiracy theorist. Real easy to call someone crazy and move on. Requires no effort.

I tend to view your comments more as skeptical scrutiny than conspiracy theory.

He's not dead, it's all an elaborate plot to boost Obama's poll numbers....They actually captured Osama and he'll soon be taking up residence at Camp David to make sure he stays out of the media's eye for eternity.
