We all know he has only made any movie he was in worse that it already was. This is what I imagine hell would be like.

YES YES YES ...... If "TOP GUN" wasn't bad enough, he had to make his own version using the APACHE helicopter, Tommy Lee Jones and Sean Young were it's only saving graces.

You guys know full well that any of his movies would have been significantly better had it a different leading actor.

I saw Raising Arizona in the theater with a bunch of other nutty jarheads and it is still my number one all time favorite comedy movie of all time.

It's more than likely a generational thing... But I'd take any Cage movie over an Eastwood flick any day of the week...

Oh my. That's blasphemy! Give me some Dirty Harry, Will Money or a Fist Full of Whatever any day. ;) However, Cage did a good in the Bad Lieutenant remake. His descent into McDonagh's hell wasn't as compelling as Keitel's, but it was pretty darn good.

The wife and I both liked the National Treasure movies and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. He is a very good actor, the problem is that he keeps getting roles he really does not fit well. When he plays a slightly demented role he is very good.

The issue is now that he'll take anything for work after his accountant screwed him and left him broke. He's trying to get out of Tax debt. Of course the CPA is suing saying that Cage didn't listen to him. Regardless he's done some stuff I really like, he's a huge proponent for investment and development in my favorite city,(anyone notice just how much stuff gets filmed in NOLA now days?) And though I haven't met him a friend of mine in NOLA has met him several times and says the guy is genuinely nice to and really down to earth he can often be found in the corner market buying his own beer, charcoal, and steaks.
