In the next few weeks I plan to buy a new Toyota Tacoma and I’m looking for any good experiences with dealerships. Ultimately I'd love to buy it over the internet so I don’t have to waste an afternoon haggling. Anyone have any experience with an internet car negotiation? I live in Noble and work in OKC and I’m willing to drive anywhere in the state for a good deal, but local metro would be a plus.
Thanks for any info

Man there's nothing I hate worse than dealing for a car. I tend to stick with smaller dealers in smaller towns. First name basis and the salesmen and women tend to hang around and be there when you come back for any repairs and warranty.

Check out Northcutt in Enid if its not to far for you. They have an Internet sales staff but i've never used it.
I'm looking at purchasing a FJ Cruiser in the near future so your post kinda hit home.
Buyer beware of course. Always check out the service department and parts manager. Thats the meat of any dealership.

I've bought from Hudiberg and Bob Howard, of the two I'd recommend Bob Howard by far. That being said someone here recently bought a brand new Taco in KC he said he got a much better deal there than he could have got from any place in OK.

Ez bake shopped in kc.

Kansas is not part of the gulf states distributorship franchise. Thus the markets are a bit different there.

If memory serves, and I got my 2011Tacoma at Bob Howard for $100 over dealer invoice by going through their Internet Sales department.

Internet sales with Hudiburg, drove down from Tulsa to pick it up. Knew exactly model and color I wanted Mario was a great working through the deals through email and very responsive. Gave a great bottom dollar price nobody else came close, in and out in about an hour. Send an email to all the dealers, will do the same thing on my next one. Tulsa dealers didn't even want to resond until 2 days later and was basically at advertised price, they wanted you in the door to deal.

Internet buyers don't want to haggle. Internet sales people know that. If you shop over the phone and the internet you might get better prices. Be willing to drive a little ways too. Figure out what you want and go from there.

I know a tow truck driver in Colorado and he once towed a Toyota Tacoma that was just shy of one million miles.

I used Janzen in Tulsa....in 1995.

Just got the engine broke in at 300,000+

I might have to put a fan belt on it. Squeals occasionally on startup. I hate having to work on them, but one has to start sometime. :thumb:
