I wasn't mad when Bush only did a flyover of New Orleans, wouldn't bother me one bit if big O did the same. It's too crazy down there right now. He and his handlers should have the sense to realize the additional stress a Presidential visit causes.

Land AF1 at Tinker, pick up the Governor in Marine One, flyover the area and then sit down with State officials to discuss what additional assistance, if any, the Federal government can provide. Then leave and get back to what should be your full time job...running the country.

But the photographs look better when you are standing in the debris. Not so much for a pic of him looking out of a helicopter window.

Couldn't they just truck a pile of debris and maybe a dead horse up to Tinker, make a nice stage for him to take pics at, then fly him back east? Let the workers and families get back to their work.
