So I am in the market for a new scope and I am considering the Burris fullfield II E1 3-9x50. In the past I have used mostly Nikon products but thought I would try something different this time. Thought I would hit you guys up for some quality feedback before I purchase. So in general what do you think of Burris products? And really looking for any feedback I can get on the E1 scope. Thanks

They preform well for me. All the ones I have are older American made ones. Don't have any experience with the newer Chinese ones but I'd suspect they'll be fine. Own 3 a 3-9x40 a 2.5-10x50 and a 6-18x50 and have had zero trouble from them.

The Fullfield II line is tough to beat for the money. I have killed one or two Burris scopes and they were repaired or replaced with no problem.

Even so, the Nikon Monarch is a much better scope.

Thanks for the response on the warranty its good to know they stand behind their products. No doubt the monarch is a great scope, but I am finding the fullfield II at half the cost of the monarchs. so how would you say the fullfield line compares to the prostaff or buck master series?

I can speak highly of their customer service and warranty.
Two years ago, I sent in a Burris 4X Mini that had a clouded lens.
The scope was manufactured in 1982.
They replaced the lens, seals and installed new windage and elevation turrets for no charge and I had it back in 10 days.
I was impressed.

I have an older Burris scope. I bought it in 1986. The strangest thing happened with that scope. I mounted it on a new Ruger 77 in the Ruger rings. The scope was dead on without any adjustments. The only time I had to adjust it was when I changed bullet weights. I have never had a problem with it. It has held it's zero on my 7mag for years.

Thanks everyone for your input , it's good to know that Burris stands behind their products but after a long deliberation I decided to go with Nikon again. Maybe I will try a Burris next time.
