Students suspended for wearing Confederate flags to protest gay rainbow flag

my my, are we so brainwashed and dumbed down that we take what ever dribble we get saddled with?

early 80's late 70's east texas, my old 3/4 ford with 12" mudgrips toolbox headache rack sliding rear window curtains with dingle berries 8track true west coast mirrors gunrack AND a "rebel" flag headliner. also "rebel" flag bandannas . had nothing to do with who i liked or didn't like, which was the The Highwaymen and other 'outlaws', but more about an independent self sufficient east texas hillbilly.

tell me ,so i can pass it on to my boy, what flag does he fly?

i've see cars dragging mexican flags , rainbow banners , all manner of pride flown .
i used to have a jolly roger on the aerial . now i fly the stars and stripes on a window stick, with a lawn sign laying on the back speaker deck, asking God to bless america . cause if he don't ,you think they will?

i just Hate having something spoiled by A-holes . maybe 1984 can't get here soon enough.

I' just show up again the next day wearing it again. You cant deny me my education. if they said yes we can I'd say great, I'll attend private school and i expect my parents taxes to be adjusted appropriately. it doesnt work like that son, they get taxed for living here. So let me get this straight, you can deny me my education, but they cant deny you the funds to pay for that education? You get a choice and I dont because you're the government and I'm not? Right, got it.

The answer to the problem seems as simple as designing an official Pro-Straight symbol. Fighting an ideal on the "anti" program is a tired, inefficient way of not getting the job done. You have to go at it as "Pro" the objection. Like how the media has stopped covering "anti-2A" in lieu of "Pro-Gun Control"... You fight metaphorical fire with fire. Pro vs Pro.

I've been trying to tell the abortion turbos on both sides this same thing for years. It's either anti-choice and pro-choice or anti-life and pro-life.

My great-grandfather was from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and served in the 38th Tennessee Infantry from 1861 - 1865 and was @ the battles of Shiloh, Chickamauga, and Franklin. Our family is proud of his service to the Confederacy and I hate seeing a bunch of peckerwood skinheads waving a Confederate battleflag with swaztika tatoos and patches on their arms. I agree that the Confederate flag is currently recognized as the banner for racists, haters, white supremacists, Nazis, etc. and as such should be deemed disruptive by the school administration. The gay rights deal - my question is why take their cause to school?

And in the context of this thread, their jealousy of gays who had the balls to come out in a society that hates them makes me both angry and sad. I wish all the bitter men in this thread one day find the courage to openly seek out the hairy asssex they close their eyes and fantasize about while they are inside a woman. But until they find that courage, please, find an outlet that is not hateful.
