Kansas mule deer

I'm working on a windfarm in Ulysses, Kansas and I'm staying in Garden City. I've been taking this country road back to town and found an area that almost always has some mulies.

And some coyotes.

In the distance is the wind farm I'm working on.

I've seen probably 15-20 coyotes in the last week or so, this cold snap has got them moving.

I have my lifetime I'm Kansas and Oklahoma. Can't wait to get started filling some white tail tags up there.

Same in NC Ok The coyotes are thick. Should be a good year calling.

When are you coming up? I saw 4 coyotes this evening in a one mile stretch. Including this guy.

I've got a Kansas either sex/either species tag for the eastern management unit burning a hole in my pocket. Hopefully going to take off the first week of rifle season. Would sure like to see a shooter buck like that!
