LOL ... It is a well known fact around here that I have a bit of a lead foot. I'm not talking about doing 100 on the highway (which btw makes the drive from here to Tulsa and back MUCH more enjoyable -- well unless you happen to get stopped by the same Trooper twice in two weeks ...), I'm talking about driving safely ... But then again, you knew that, didn't you?
Or maybe not ...
But, of course, there's always someone who thinks they don't have follow the same rules the rest of us do ... You won't hear me complaining about those damned JBTs doing their job though ... I kinda like the job security these kind of drivers provide them ...
Next time you get pulled over by a trooper for doing 25 over and GC is in the passenger seat, there had better be video posted here.
I agree. They should definitely be promoting the officers that exhibit this kind of behavior. Give him the pursuit vehicle.
Guess I'm weird, don't see a durn thing wrong with what that cop did. The idiot shouldn't have been in the left lane to start with.
There's also nothing wrong with slamming on my brakes so I don't hit the dog that's crossing the road

Well as long as nobody is breaking the law 2ft behind your vehicle then I think you and that dog will be safe. Unfortunately if someone were to tailgate you or follow too closely, then when you braked to save the dog that person who was breaking the law might rear-end you.
Maybe next time someone tailgates someone to get them to move over they should think of that dog.
The DPS driver handbook used to encourage it for certain situations. So I would assume not.
