We have several threads that are still here where we were all outraged that Obama was going to bomb Syria, which would have the effect of helping the rebels.
Some even argued that he should be impeached if he didn't go to Congress first.
Then we were outraged that he didn't bomb Syria like he said he would and decided to go to congress.
Then Putin convinced his ally Assad to sign onto giving up his chemicals to avoid a military strike that might topple him and that was Putin winning somehow.

We don't know WTF we want except to ***** about Obama.

This.

Oh Thank God!... we sooo needed something to take our focus off of... well all the BS running crazy right here!... I kinda miss the cold war anyway.

If someone where to fire the first shot, regardless of who, we would've been screwed so hard we'd of been bleeding out the mouth.
Some new about the Cold War came out not to long ago, there was a top General in our military that worked I guess you could say with the Russian's. He gave them all of our info, positions, etc. All of our plans from A to Z, all of the locations of our subs, everything you could imagine, the Russian's knew about.

So if Ukraine is its own country and has its own nukes......wheres their army???

Somethings sounding very fishy. Russia invades Ukraine, who owns Crimia but has a Russian base there. Ukraine has nukes but their Army is absent and WE'RE making threats about the G8 summit to be held in Russia.

Russia sent troops to airports and TV stations and may have cut phone lines and blocked some internet access. And the MSM is eating it up.

This is sooooo obviously fishy.

I think the reason is is that I heard that Ukraine was going to try and be A LOT like the U.S., but the Ukraine president is in the same bed as Putin. The Ukraine president goes missing and then a week later pops up in Ukraine with Putin, yeah something is kinda fishy here. Putin is trying to scare all the eastern European countries to see if he has the control still over them, I mean they were under control of the Russian's for over like 40+ years, so they are a bit scared. The only one who really turned their nose up at them was the Czech's. Plus Ukraine is Part of NATO, the Russian's don't like that. Also Ukraine is right against Russia.

Our government does not belong there, but I really want the Ukrainians to triumph over Russia.

That's probably where the problem comes in, the Ukraine's will be kissing Putin's feet. Since we're the top country in the world, then it's China, then Russia, I don't see Ukraine in there anywhere. I would like our forces to go in just to get rid of the Russian's, but then not because all Hell would break lose.

question, maybe some of you guys can clear up for me. Am I understanding that the 'rebels' who wanted to join up with europe and ousted the president who was more of a Russian loyalist type are mostly muslim? The reason I ask is because A. I can't seem to find much information about who the people that are protesting actually are and B. if they are mostly Muslim are they trying to bring in some kind of islamic controlled state to Ukraine?

I don't think it has anything to do with rag head's, it's probably the fact that Ukraine was controlled for so long by them, they want change. They don't want a dictatorship like government. From what I've been hearing, Ukraine is trying to pretty much be a 2nd United States, have laws and other things just like us. Since that came up, all this has started from what I can tell.

But this is russia we're talking about now. The one that got away. We exchanged numbers, went out a few times, and got to 2nd base with her, just couldn't ever seal the deal. Just when we got her walls down, Boom! She ends it. Leaves us with a bad case of red, white, & blue balls.
For revenge we start dating her friends, but it's not the same. This is our 2nd chance to get it right, you know "go all the way."

If Ukraine wants to be just like us, Should
the South (Crimea) be allowed to secede from the North? Who gets to decide?
