I have a good friend, Billy Pappas, who is currently sitting in 4th of the final 27 players at the World Series of Poker in Vegas with $14million in chips heading into the playoff at noon today to get into the final 9 and a chance at the first place prize. Final 9 or November 9 players are gaurenteed a minimum of $730k, first place is $10 million. Pretty freakin sporty. Go Billy!!!

Its the first time too for him to get this far. He's one of our top stars on the table soccer pro tour, has won many international and world championships, think he won his first world championship at 14. His mom is one of our top female pros and she would bring him to tournaments when he was a little kid and later at night after matches were over I would see him playing poker in the rooms with the big guys- and beating them. Just one of those kids who naturally can do it all. He's even a 10 speed in pool too.

A couple of friends have made it into to the finals over the years but have never won. One friend, also a world foosball champion, and originally from OKC now living in Tulsa, made it into the final 27 once. Another friend from Chicago, also a world champion in foosball, her son finished in the top 9 several years ago.
