His big gong is like 100 yards out and he pings it without trouble with every handgun he test. You can tell he's put a lot of lead downrange.
Love watching Hickok shoot. Whenever I think about buying a new gun I'll always look to see if Hickok reviewed it.
He shoots/reviews conventional stuff, and sometimes gets ahold of some bizarre guns that would probably be hard to find locally.

I think there are adapters that are actually registered under NFA guidelines that are legal. The demo I saw was the best sound reduction I've ever witnessed. I'm sure there are some demos on YouTube.
I saw the video you're referring to but I do not know if that was an accurate assessment of the situation.
