Tristan is actually right on this one guys. My cousin started acting gay and my uncle was able to set him straight. He started him out on playboys at first then the harder stuff. That and regular bible reading, prayer and going to church, cured him. He's no longer with us (suicide) but at least we know he was able to get into heaven.

As a business owner, I fully understand what you are getting at- you want the right to choose who you sell to. You have that right, but at the same time, you can't discriminate against someone for certain reasons, just as you can't be discriminated against for the same reasons. That is called equal protection. You can't deny services to a black guy just as he can't deny them to you as a white guy, or Christian, or straight. Just because your skin tone and religion and sexual proclivities may be the majority does not mean you don't benefit from the same protections.
And did tristanjay REALLY suggest chemical castration for homosexuals? did he just wake up from a coma and thinks it is 1949? wow.

I hope you didn't get that from my replies to your posts, I'm not trying to vilify you at all.
I'm just saying the word "right" gets thrown around a lot; right to health care, right to feel safe, right to purchase shelter, and I don't think it's accurate in a lot of cases. It's not a constitutionally guaranteed right that I know of, I could be wrong.
It's not hard to get to "right to HAVE shelter"; then we'd owe everyone a house.
Forced equality doesn't feel right to me, but at the same time I know it can have good outcomes.

Yeah, that Positive Rights outlook (the notion that you can have a "right" to have another person forced to provide you something, such as his consent to conduct business with you in this case) is popping up more and more it seems, and is spreading outside of the traditional circles of hardcore FSA folks.
Count me among the MYOBers who don't think anybody ought to be forced to do anything except leave other people alone, and who want a voluntary society where people can pursue happiness any way they choose as long as their idea of happiness isn't initiating force against other people.
Looks like it may be time for a state preemption law to put an end to these city anti-discrimination ordinances, just like we have against municipal firearm regulation.
