Would you choose 1 high-end over 2 low-end?

Hypothetically, if you could only have one high-end AR15 or two low-end AR15's, which would you choose?
High end assumes, better trigger, better barrel, better fit and finish.

All rifles you choose must have same chambering and same platform. you can replace AR with AK, FAL, or SKS. Whatever floats your boat. Assume a variety of ammo is available to you and magazines are not limiting. Iron sights only.

Do not assume that this scenario plays out during SHTF times, but realize that S could HTF.

I'd choose 2 rifles for spare parts and ability to recruit a battle buddy. I'd probably also choose two different barrel twist rates, 1-9 and 1-7.

When something goes wrong and disables your weapon...

Two is one, one is none.

Given the option, I will choose two over one.

As far as any differences in the two rifles, right now I like having a 16" with collapsible stock and a 20" with fixed stock.

I haven't gotten into SBRs and suppressors yet. [emoji41]

I guess it would depend but I think I would have one low end functional rifle, with as much ammo as I could buy matched to the correct twist rate.

I like to have at least two of any caliber. Not for any specific need but more to varied neurosises that I have. I bought a "middle tier" AR (BCM Mod 0) and on an impulse kind of buy bought another 223 BUT it was a bolt action CZ527 FS. On the AR I have a Meptolight RDS (IMHO a great sight for the money) and on the CZ I am putting on a Leupold 1.25-4 with their "Fire Dot" on a German #4 retical.

Thought about a second AR (another BCM or even the Ruger 556) but the full stock and bolt action of the CZ won me over.
