Kudos to all that quit, it's brutal to watch someone die from cancer, slowly, from smoking. Your family will appreciate it down the road.

Congrats quitters, you've made the right decision for sure!!!!!!! :) They took my dad's life at age 56.

You are so right. I watched my brother die of lung cancer at the age of 54. I had quit more than four years prior. He had actually quit several years earlier, and just decided he wanted to go back to smoking!!! He quit again just before he was diagnosed, and died a year later ... on my birthday.

Not to mention the cost. A couple that smokes a couple packs of premium brands each will spend 800 a month. That’s a couple guns per month!

Good point! I 'swore' I would never pay a dollar a pack! Well, I didn't stick to that. When I quit, I was paying just over a dollar a pack. Still, that adds up. A dollar a day ... $365 a year ... in 1999 dollars, would buy some pretty nice firearms! (well, one a year, anyway)
