"In 1994, Sig released the P229 pistol, the first production handgun introduced that was chambered in .357 SIG and specifically designed to handle the higher pressures of that round."

I've had a Sig SP2340 in .357 since 2001. Great pistol, I like it better than the traditional Sigs I have. My son bought one at the same time and just recently bought a .40 barrel for it. This model was replaced by the SP2022 and I don't think that model is offered in .357 Sig but they do offer a barrel for it from the factory. Shows out of stock at the moment.

Also have a M&P in .40 that I bought mainly to install a Stormlake .357 barrel in. I haven't had a chance to shoot it much yet but it does work well so far.

Ammo can be expensive and a little harder to find but it's out there. It's not a hard cartridge to reload either.

I have a P320 in .357 sig and a .357sig conversion barrel for a Steyr M-40. Won't ever get rid of them, I can always swap a .40 or 9mm conversion barrel if need be. Love the sig round.

Stupid question. Opinions of whether or not I could become proficient with a Glock? They just don't fit my hand. I've never had an issue picking up a Smith, SA or Ruger strikers and being able to shoot them accurately. Not so with the Glocks. I've got a buddy that is the same way with the Smiths. I own a couple he bought and couldn't shoot. He's a Glock guy.

Who has one?

What kind?

When did you get it?

Why do you like it (or not)?

I think I want one. I don’t have the slightest idea why, I just do.

I’d like to have something that is easily concealed, and I’d prefer it not be a Glock. I don’t have anything against the Glocks, I just don’t shoot them very well.

I’m finding limited options, but the search has just started.

Looking for advice, or to be talked out of it.

All comments welcome.

I have a 229 SAS I'm looking to sell, I'll have to find how much ammo I have and put it up

M and P's have always pinched my hand. Don't know why, just the geometry I guess.
