Just finished Lonesome Dove for the first time.

On a side note on Grit tv. Hangmans knot just started and there is a wagon full of 1860s in this movie.

There’s also a three episode prequel to the Lonesome Dove series. It tells the story of when Gus and Woodrow first became rangers.

Lonesome Dove is still one of my all time favorites. My brother plays it on his laptop in the car for long drives. I was reading the novel when the series came out. Had to record it and make certain no one talked about it around me before I finished the book. The movie is great but the book is the best I've ever read.
