I don't understand the FB hate. I have my account set to where I receive no "news" pages or posts from folks that I have decided I don't want to see. An advertisement will occasionally pop up, but just like a commercial on TV, I skip right on by. My family and friends are scattered around the country, and we use FB to keep up with each other. Like everything else in life, you have to control what comes into your life.

Well facebook sucks at snooping them out... I've been apart of the same six OK gun sales groups for something like a decade....

Same here. Family, a few friends and some assorted hobby related pages. And a few others. Wanna know where Antifa/BLM are rioting? There are a number of groups that post the live feed of the streamers in the protests. It's been very enlightening. If a page, friend or relative starts to get on your nerves just unfriend, unfollow or block them. Easy. But haters gonna hate.

That stupid Nextdoor app is the same way . . . way too many busy-bodies who report stuff instead of just scrolling on and leaving folks alone.

I just deleted the last of my social media accounts today. I'm so tired of the junk I see on there. I don't need that in my life.

Must be very good at filtering out the snitches . . . way back when I was still on there we had several groups that used code to buy/sell. Someone found out or something. Heck, even the ones that didn't discuss sales at all got the axe.

It just became too much of a time suck for me at times . . . it may have been better if I unfriended more folks. But I keep in touch with those I care to without it now anyway.

The only things I have found worth poking around in are some of the overseas gun groups and precision shooting groups, and all I have done so far is look into them a bit.

I personally used my real name and I think many do. I have been looking for a way to change it but have been unsuccessful. I may delete and restart under an alias. Lots of gun and reloading groups in Oklahoma. I will try to find a list and attach.
