Why are Camaro and Mustang owners driving in this weather?

I've been watching News 9 and it seems like every time they go live and have road footage, you see sports cars stuck in the road.

Are the owners of these cars brainless? What makes them think they can drive through 8" ruts of snow on sport tires and RWD?

Last Monday I saw two wrecked mustangs from just the ice. I’ve had to help a BMW and a Challenger out of the snow. I don’t get why sports car owners are even considering heading out.

I was just griping about this to my wife. I seen a red challenger and I'm like, people. This is Oklahoma. We have crappy weather.

I realize not everyone needs a 4x4 with decent ground clearance 24/7, but you knew this snow was on the ground?
