Feeder lights will allow one to get a few, but pigs are smart and will start shying away from feeders they are shot at.
I run thermal scopes on suppressed AR 15s and have friends that are also running thermal scopes on suppressed AR 15s.
The trap is best on on places without easy access and open. On large fields of corn or milo stubble where grain is left behind harvest over 160 or more acres it is tougher to draw an entire sounder to the grain pile in the trap. We have found and shot pigs from as many as 3 different groups of hogs on a 160 acre field by just starting on the furthest group that we can start on downwind and then walk to the next group.
