I'm Kelly, a female member of the USSA Silver Team. I will be at the IPSC match this Saturday. I am working on something for women only that will get women excited about shooting and competitions but I can't do it alone. Come and talk to me during the match. It's easy to recognize me because I shoot in a skirt. Together, we can get your women out of the house and rushing to get to their next match. When we are done, she may leave you guys in the dust but everyone will be happy.

I can't have you on my team.. You would out shoot me then I would have to put my guns down forever. Between being out shot by you and the blind guy really makes it tough on the male ego....

Hey Kelly,

I spoke to you about my wife getting into the sport. What you might consider is having some type of introductory lessons or matches on the side while the guys are shooting the proam or ipsc matches. That way the wives/girlfriends could come at the same time as the guys. And if most of these guys a smart, if you can get your wife or girlfriend actively involved in this sport, you most likely will not have any trouble getting to go to matches. Then she'll need guns, reloading equipment and all other sorts of great stuff. It's worth a shot. IMHO.

Was your weapon giving you trouble, I noticed you didn't finish the match.

I did have trouble with either my gun or ammo. I am going to see Dr. Kevin the gun guru this week to see what is up.
Get with me on Sat. I'll show you what I have in mind. I will need every guy that has this problem to fill out a very brief form stating your shooting issue with your woman and any idea you have for an event. Then I will take all of these forms and get to work. Talk to everyone you can that will fill out a form for me and we can get women of all ages involved. AND BY THE WAY, My husband never has to worry about when he can go shoot, he just has to hurry and get in the car before I leave for the range cause I gotta go shoot and fast.
