Used John Boat

I'm going to have to retire soon and I hate it. Health picks your hobbies often. Ha. Anyway, I've been prepping for it. I plan on doing a lot of target shooting on a piece of land I can stretch out to 1,500 yds max, fish and tinker around with stuff.
I need a used John Boat with trailer. I'm not looking for a bass master...Ha. Just something I can drop in the water myself and enjoy something I've not had time to do for year. Got one, that's a good deal, please let me know.

You might look into a canoe as well, You can get a small 5HP motor to put on it and will not need to register it!! On the search for one myself.

Academy had 10ft Pelican plastic boats for $650 if I remember right.

I have a John boat and an old boat trailer.er I would part with. The trailer would need lights and new tires, but I’ll make you a fair deal if you want to come check it all out.

war eagle resorts has aluminum canoes for sale. 18 footers, some in decent condition. I think I paid 150 for mine, they have an entire field of them. had to braze a small hairline crack in mine above the water line, no big deal. Mine is an Osagian. Give them a call, I’m sure they have some left.

My son and I went there and found 1 he liked asked them if they would take $100 and they said yes.
We Tossed it on top of his car and he drove back to Moore OK.
Used 2 of those 2" 3500lb ratchet straps.

I kinda want to go back and grab another to resell. Such a good deal.

also, if anyone is in the OKC area I would consider loaning out my 2” hitch canoe carrier if you don’t wanna just strap it to your roof with pool noodles and ratchet straps.
