looking for other owners of these awesome beasts. I am currently restoring a 1971 factory Half Cab bronco with 3 speed/302 combo

I once owned a 1970 model ragtop. 10 50's all the way around. Love it, but not the 10mpg. What made it worse is IIRC was the 8.5 and 10.5 gal gas tanks!

My first ride was a 71' bronco 3 on the tree 302. A girl pulled out in front of me on the hi-way and that was the end of that. Drove a 81' bronco forever after that. I would love to get back into one and have been shopping for the "right" one for some time now.

My first 4X4 was an 81 Bronco with a 302. I loved that big piece of crap, used its front bumper to kill my only bobcat.

My big piece of crap had a straight 6 with a 4sp/granny, would climb anything, drank alot of gas........................yet it never failed me once. Should have never gotten rid of it. There's a white early bronco for sale in Chrerokee, nice looking rig, but nicer than what I'm looking for.

Mine's a '76 that causes me as much headache as happiness..and it's plenty of both. Bought it for my own 30th birthday present. Previous owner really did some hairy stuff to it so even the simple things turn into a week long project.
