5 stages. 150rnds will get ya thru. Sign in at 10, with shotgun squadding. $10 for USSA members, $15 for non and $5 for shotgun if you shoot pistol. Dress for the weather.

Thinking about bringing my Saiga out to shoot. How many rounds are we talking? (and don't get all excited, it is nothing like Jerry's! Out of the box stock.)

I usually take about 100 rds. for shotgun and end up firing around 80-90.

Depending on how quick you are you might want an extra box or two since you're shooting stick mags. The last one I shot I think Kelly (who won) had 120 plates with his Saiga.

I'm planning on making it out as well.

Pro Am is very simple.

10 rounds in each mag max. Buzzer goes off and you shoot as many steel plates (poppers, plate racks, etc.) as you can within the par time, generally around 20 seconds. Whoever racks up the most total steel wins.

Each stage is a bit different and there's always a bit of movement. Youtube it and you'll find some vids.

Right on. Thanks! I'm seeing all pistol but have heard comments about shotguns. Are they mixed into it as well? Just trying to figure out what all to bring. Yeah I know, freakin newb. Lol

Yes - the shotgun match is the same thing. It starts right after the pistol match. Here's a video:

Weak... I hate having these matches on Saturday... I hope with the new additions to our department, I can get my old shift back, which will mean I'll be free on weekends!

Can someone confirm, is the next USSA USPSA match the 22nd or the 29th?
