06/26/2011 USSA Rifle Match!

Ok shooters , pistols will be required for this one, (next month shot guns). Round count will be 125 or so rifle and maybe 50 for pistol. Gotta pick one division again, rim fire rifle or center fire, pistols will need to be center fire as they will be used to knock down steel. $10 for USSA members and $15 for non.

A few notes for the curious:

• Slings will not be needed
• Pistol holsters, must be able to retain gun while you are moving.
• No green tip or any other steel cored rifle ammo
• Be prepared for reloads on both guns, 3mags per would be good.
• To the shooters at High Plains, Good luck!

What is the farthest distance that a target will be placed at during a tactical rifle match at ussa? Wondering if the course could be run with just iron sights.. or a 4-5 moa red dot...

Yes we have shooters that shoot with irons. The father the target can be is 300 yards.

I wish I wasn't busy this weekend. I'd like to take a trip up to Tulsa to attend this one.
