12 year old Oklahoma girl, shoots home invader!

It happened in Bryan County this week. A 12 year old girl was home alone when a stranger kicked the door to the house in and came inside. She called 911 and hid in a closet with a .40 caliber Glock. When the intruder approached her hiding place, she opened fire, wounding the intruder. The intruder was later captured and transported to the hospital. The intruder was previously accused of kidnapping a mentally handicapped girl.Here is a link to the story:

Exactly. But since it happened, better she suffer this stress than the stress of being raped and/or murdered.

Kudos to her parents for teaching her how to protect herself.

I do feel for her that she had to go thru that kind of trauma, but thank goodness she knew what to do and had the capabilities to do it.
