I don’t understand why 00 is so popular in Oklahoma, considering it’s too expensive and not terribly fun as a plinking round, and you can’t hunt with it? I have over 100rds of 00 and I figure that’s about a lifetime supply for me.

We use it when hunting from a heli.

There is no such thing as hunting from a helicopter. that is absurd. Exterminating or shooting from maybe.
There is an ad on the bulletin board at our local airport that they need shooters in Idabel right now if you enjoy that sort of thing.

Forget everyone going in together on buying a piece of land for an OSA range, let’s all go in together on a shared helicopter. Supposedly Bell 206’s are the best bang for your buck and one of the cheapest to fly and maintain. I’m sure we have a pilot around here somewhere.

Pretty much all I shoot out of my KS-12, since Wilshire won't allow birdshot. I don't shoot it often, but I probably have 500+ rounds or so.
