Episode 5 sucked. I guess I understand the reason but I didn’t like it.

I can't get into it. I tried. I don't like the characters much. I don't think Tim McGraw is believable. I got half way thru episode 2 and decided that was enough.
I didn't like the head-in-the-clouds teenage girl. It wasn't believable to me how she came from a 'civilized' part of the country to a wild land, was raped by a drunken pig man that her dad shot right in front of her, but didn't seem to be traumatized at all.
I love the show. Not a big Tim

I'm losing interest for sure. They're trying too hard to recreate Lonesome Dove without recreating Lonesome Dove. If somewhere along the way the cut the cards for a poke, that will be the final nail in the coffin and quit watching.

We are watching it on paramount +. It is a subscription of 4.99 per month but there are a lot of great shows on Paramount +.
I’m with you Okieyote. We really like the show as well.
Tonight was, by far, the weakest episode so far.
