Which flavor do you chose?

For 1911 owners only. Please don't say "Condition 5, a Glock"
Glocks are great, but this is only for 1911's!

Please don't notice my iPhone spelling error in the poll. Haha

Condition 1, though I rarely if ever carry my 1911.

So most often, she's usually in the safe in condition 4. I know, I know... but my Colt's my little safe princess!

All except cond 1 are dangerous. either to you or someone around you.
0, will shoot your foot off or other ND.
2, never carry this way a hard bump could cause a discharge.
3,4 will be such slow reaction time you might as well not carry a ccw.

Condition 0 is not dangerous, if in a good holster and carried by an experienced person - there's at least 3 safeties still engaged at that point - the grip safety, the holster covering the trigger guard & trigger, and my brain. Less than no chance of ND in that circumstance. Zero or 1 are the only ways to fly. IMO.

Regarding condition 2....
You may be right, but will the 80 series safety or Swartz safety change this.

Condition 1 for carry. It's the only way that makes sense. Condition 2 requires lowering the hammer on a live round (and manually cocking the hammer before firing); no thanks. Any condition involving an empty chamber is a non-starter. I am not an Israeli conscript.
