1911 sights

I am needing to update the sights on my 1911 due to an eye condition. What do you all recommend for easy to see sights?

I have cataracts. Changed to a green fiber optic on my Springfield EMP. Helps alot
Gun shop suggested a reflex sight for me. $$ to upgrade.

Carry a Wilson Combat EDCX9 thinking seriously about sending it to Wilson to get them to machine the slide and install the red dot. It's what they call their true zero optic.

What’s the eye condition? If astigmatism, you prob want to stay away from red dots.

I had the XS Big Dot on my Commander, worked great.

Adies tonic pupil is the name of it. Basically the pupil in my left (dominant) eye doesn’t work.

Green small fiber optic on rear.

I just ended up painting the front sights on my GI's fluorescent yellow

I run a tritium front sight with an orange circle around it and a blacked out rear sight. This combo allows for fast target acquisition for me.

My Kimbers have white dot rear and fiber optic fronts. The fiber optic really stands out.
