Got the parts in today, now I just have to figure out how the get them on.

Good luck. I’ve done a couple of them & replacing those buffers is a bit of a PITA. Some tiny parts that easily get lost. Keep an eye on those snap rings.

Unless I’m mistaken, those old buffers were made of a more rigid plastic. The new ones should outlive the rifle.

Thanks. I've seen videos where they use zip ties to keep things together. Any thoughts on this method?

Never tried that. Let me know how it goes.

Use a paper clip to hold the hammer in the cocked position. After that it's a piece of cake.

This here. That should help out a lot. Wish I’d have known about it when I did mine.

Thank you!!! This made it so easy.
And yes, the hammer has both ears broke off but still works just fine without them. As the new replacement doesn't have ears I figure they are not necessary.

Got this one (The Glenfield 75) out this weekend and it works perfectly. While I had it apart I also readjusted the ejector wire as I was having a few extraction issues before as well.

Ran about 200 rounds through it and not a single failure. This includes rapid firing a few full magazines (14rd magazine tube) which would have definitely jammed it each and every time before.

I'll Get the Marlin 60 fixed next weekend, time permitting.
