I just got a reply. They have now decided to not to do in-shop pickup orders.

I kinda figured that was coming with the response that they have received from the AR community, I guess they also just picked up a retail contract. I am having my lowers sent to SSP since I wasn't sure when I would be able to make it down to 2VA to pick them up.

welcome to the forum Dean! I completely understand the not being able to do pickup in person, I am just glad I can help support you guys and Gallan Few! We will have to figure out a time and place to get together in the future to do the build on one of the lowers, I am thinking it will be a blackout.

Anyone got their lowers yet?

There have been some delays with the lowers, nothing on 2 Vets part though. Last I had heard the first 150 were being shipped out. I hope my 3 are in the first batch

I emailed them on the 7th, they said they were in for anodizing and shouldn't be more than a couple weeks out. It's almost 3 weeks now. I'm just impatient because I have a stack of parts waiting for cerakote, hydro dip, and assembly.

Let's just say that tactical machining watched the ball roll by on that one. I have parts sitting on my workbench just waiting, but I am patiently waiting because I was able to secure my lowers and parts before all of this craziness started, so glad I am not having to pay inflated prices.

I noticed yesterday that Brownells is gong to be selling Tactical Machining lowers starting in January. TM may have been trying to get enough supply for them first since they're a nationwide distributor.
