Nope, I don’t see that at all. It’s simply a factual way to bring perspective to people that think their abilities are worth far more than they actually are. There’s not a darn thing wrong being a table cleaner or burger wrapper but when you think you should be payed on the same level as a welder, nurse or mechanic then you aren’t living in reality. And to think you do sounds an awful lot socialism. Value as a human being and value as an employee are two totally different things. Guess I’m just not one to coddle people that don’t deserve it.
I'll take your criticism of what someone's work is worth a little more seriously when you can use the English language properly.

Just for your personal growth today, here is the definition of the word I highlighted in your comment:

"Payed is a rare word that’s only used in nautical/maritime contexts. It can be used to refer to the act of coating parts of a boat with waterproof material or to the act of letting out a rope or chain by slackening it."

I'm pretty sure you weren't referring to anything nautical in that sentence, but I guess you might be a little unskilled in this situation.

Ah, the ole “socialism” boogeyman, the grand pooba of OSA misdirects.

You sound like you think you should be the commissar of the worth of work.

I would like to see you go into those places of employment and tell those people they are “burger wrappers”. More demeaning language you would never say to their faces.

You’re going to have to be more specific and help me understand where folks here have been “snobs”. Nothing wrong with most any job however I’ve said and will to continue to say that unskilled labor should NOT be paid skilled labor wages. I don’t think that disrespectful. And if an 8 year old can do your job then that’s a good indication you are an unskilled laborer. Ya wanna make more money? Learn a skill that deserves a higher wage and don’t complain that you should be making $20 an hour for clearing a tray off a table.
I agree 100%

But, he’s correct, I worked at Mickey dees, for several years, watching the staff work, I always wondered why they made minimum wage, mainly teenagers and later on teenagers pushed out and replaced by Hispanic workers (really bad attitudes).
Why bang on Firpo for being honest, about his beliefs.
