Brian Renegar and I have had quite a bit of discussion on this subject and he wouldn't budge from being totally against "Open Carry." He stated that he "called local law enforcement" and all were adamant about being against the issue and he was going to take their advice and vote "NO" each and every time it came up. I couldn't get him to even consider looking at all the evidence that open carry wasn't going to cause 'blood in the streets'... O well maybe if enough contact him he will change his mind.

How a guy that lives in a bubble like that could ever get elected to public office...

Wait, Whaaaat?

Oh yeah. Oklahoma.

Someday I might run for skits and giggles. I'd support OC & CC without permits and work to change the state constitution to eliminate everything after the word "BUT" in Section II-26...

I'd never get elected.

I wonder if Sue Tibbs will let the bill again out of committee, knowing that this time there is no democrat governor to veto it.
That will be a crucial test of her professional integrity. What was good enough to let out of committee last time (after all "public safety issues" had been properly studied, of course) should be good enough to take out of committee now.
If she does not, then her constituents need to decide if that is who they want representing them.
