I saw maybe 3 today in 7 hours in Pott county. Plenty of crows though. Might actually hunt them for the first time this year.
There seemed to be quite a few birds when I was up a couple weeks ago, but from past experience, there could be none by the time season gets here.
Out West this weekend they were everywhere.
Driving through west Texas a few weeks ago there were a bunch. Not seeing as many around here though. Really hoping we don't get a cooler weather push before opening day. I think the opener might be pretty good.

Rains in our area means they won't be around ponds. They can drink from ditches.
