Here's wishing all the OSA deer hunters a safe and successful hunt.

Don't be this guy. :)

I did that this morning. Right in front of my brothers cell cam. Im just waiting on his angry text. I had my gun though.
Getting them excited about going to deer camp for any reason is a good thing.
Amen.
Decided I'd sit long enough so I got down to walk back to the truck. Got about 3/4 of the way back, looked towards the road and running down the tree row that parallels the road was the buck I was looking for. Just has a small spike on the right, crazy drop on the left. Let him get about 100y out and the .350RM dumped him. He looked the same last year, I let him walk hoping the right side would do something but I guess not. First pic is last year's pic.

I’m all about passing a buck to see what he’ll grow into next year, but I would’ve dropped him like a hot rock last year just because of the drop tine.

Congrats on a super cool buck!!!:thumb:

My wife, daughter and I got out this morning, late as usual though 🤣. About 30 minutes in, this big female appeared out of nowhere it seemed, already staring at us when I spotted her. The 308 didn't do her any favors...

In central Oklahoma today my group saw 3-4 spikes. 1.5 year olds at most. No does at any feeder either. The adult deer might be shacked up at our place for a little bit having some alone time.
We too are in central ok.
13yo son shot a young 8 point at 7:30. I might would have talked him into passing, I couldn’t see him from my view out of the blind and he told me he is a mounter for sure shooter. Lol
Killed him got him loaded and at 10:30 the big shooter was at same spot for an hour with a doe. So don’t doubt that they are hooking up with the last hot does here.
So now I’m holding the gun and in same spot…!
