.22Mag automatic rifle

Been looking for the above but haven't any luck as of yet, I owned H&K and H&R in the past but things has changed so much since then. I'll be heading to the Tulsa gun show this spring and would like to get some pointers on which rifles made these days to look for ....thanks

Ruger still has the 17/22 as well... not a lot of semi-auto 22WMR rifles out there, though.

I have a Remington 597 in 22 mag I don't use much, shoot me a PM if you want.

I was going to suggest the Remington 597 in 22mag. Don't know if they are still making it, though, and it was much more than a 22lr 597. I havn't shot one but would be interested in hearing how they perform from owners.

CZ is supposed to have a new model, the 512, in either 22lr or 22wmr sometime this year. CZ's discontinued 611 is considered one of the finest (and most expensive) 22 magnum autos, but the 512 is entirely new and will have to be evaluated when it comes out. There is already grumbling it is not "steel and walnut" like the 611 but that ship has sailed. The CZ website shows 22lr only, but their printed catalog and new products brochure has both 22lr and 22wmr.
